This Privacy Policy describes how Mustang Elite Wrestling (legal name: Richardson Mustang Wrestling Club), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, collects, uses, and protects information obtained through mustangelitewrestling.com (the "Site"). This policy is effective as of June 22, 2026.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact form, you may provide your name, email address, an optional phone number, your wrestler's age or grade, and a message. We collect only what you choose to share.

Automatically collected information. When you visit the Site, we automatically receive standard technical data including your browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on pages, and general geographic region (city/state level). This data is collected through cookies and analytics technologies described below.

We use the information we collect to: respond to your inquiries and questions submitted through the contact form; provide information about our programs, events, and registration process to families who request it; improve the Site's content, navigation, and user experience; and fulfill our obligations as a nonprofit youth sports organization.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling beyond basic analytics.

The Site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our pages. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device that collect anonymized usage data — such as which pages are visited and how long visitors stay — and transmits that data to Google's servers.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies; consult your browser's help documentation for instructions.

We rely on the following third-party services to operate the Site and our programs. Each is governed by its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:

Microsoft (email delivery). When you submit our contact form, your message is delivered to us via Microsoft's cloud email infrastructure (Microsoft Graph / Microsoft 365). Microsoft acts as a data processor for this communication. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement at privacy.microsoft.com.

Vercel (website hosting). The Site is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel may process standard server-log data (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of hosting. See Vercel's Privacy Policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Google Analytics (analytics). As described above, Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

SportsEngine (registration portal). Player registration and payment processing are handled by the SportsEngine platform at a separate URL (mustangwrestlingclub.sportngin.com). Information you submit during registration is governed by SportsEngine's own privacy policy and terms, not this policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We share information only as necessary to operate the Site and our programs: with the third-party service providers listed above (Microsoft, Vercel, Google) who process data on our behalf under their own policies; and when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of the club, its members, or the public.

The Site is directed to parents and guardians, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.

In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately at the address below.

Registration data for youth wrestlers is submitted by a parent or guardian through the SportsEngine portal and is subject to that platform's COPPA compliance practices.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected — typically for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or as required by applicable law.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies. You may disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some features.

Google Analytics. You may opt out of Google Analytics data collection using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-on or your browser's privacy controls.

Access, correction, or deletion. If you would like to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information you have provided to us, please contact us at the address below. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
