Mustang Elite Wrestling is a community-funded nonprofit. Your support keeps fees affordable, puts gear on the mat, and gives Richardson-area kids the opportunity to learn a sport that builds them for life.
Why Your Support Matters
Mustang Elite Wrestling exists to make youth wrestling accessible to every Richardson-area child — regardless of household income. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we do not turn a profit. We keep program fees well below what for-profit clubs charge, and every dollar we collect goes directly into the athletes.
That model only works when the community invests alongside us. Donations and sponsorships help us cover the real costs of running a quality program: wrestling equipment, mat maintenance, USA Wrestling sanctions, tournament travel assistance for families who need it, and coaching development. When you give to Mustang Elite, you are not funding a business — you are funding a kid’s chance to compete.
Our Nonprofit Status
Mustang Elite Wrestling operates under the registered legal name Richardson Mustang Wrestling Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with EIN 84-1770885, established in 2019.
Contributions to a 501(c)(3) organization may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Every donor should consult their own tax advisor to determine the deductibility of any specific contribution. We are happy to provide donation acknowledgment letters upon request — simply mention this when you reach out.
Ways to Support the Club
- Direct donation — a one-time or recurring gift that goes straight into program operations, equipment, and athlete scholarships
- Local business sponsorship — put your brand in front of Richardson-area families while giving back to the community; see below for details
- In-kind contribution — wrestling gear, mat equipment, or other supplies the club can use directly
- Volunteer coaching or support — experienced wrestlers and coaches can contact us about getting involved on the mat
- Spread the word — sharing our programs and mission with families who would benefit costs nothing and helps us grow

If your business serves Richardson, Garland, Plano, Lake Highlands, or the surrounding communities, a Mustang Elite sponsorship puts your name in front of the families who live and spend money there. Our club families are active, community-rooted households who notice and appreciate local businesses that invest in youth athletics.
